Itinerary for 6-night, 7-day trip to Bhutan:

Day 1 : Fly into Paro International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing to the altitude and exploring the town.

Day 2 : Afetr breakfast drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. On the way, stop at the Chele La Pass for some stunning mountain views. Explore Thimphu, including the Bhutanese Post Office and the Changangkha Lhakhang monastery.

Day 3 : 3rd day after the delicious breakfast drive to Punakha, stopping at Dochula Pass for more great mountain views. Explore Punakha Dzong, the beautiful 17th century fortress.

Day 4 : Drive to Gangtey, stopping en route at the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Hike to Naga View Point for some amazing views of the valley below.

Day 5 : Drive to Paro, stopping at the Drukgyel Dzong on the way. Explore Paro, including the Ta Dzong museum and the Rinpung Dzong.

Day 6 : Hike to Tiger's Nest, the legendary monastery that clings to a cliff face 3,000 feet above the valley.

Day 7: Fly back to your home airport.
